Siemens AG and Sandisk unveiled a flashed memory card in 1997 that called the Multimedia card (MMC). It is much smaller than the earlier system of Intel NOR did based memory such as compact Flash because it is based on the Toshiba\u2019s NAND base flash memory so this basically is of a size of postage stamp. The size is all about 24mm*32mm*1.4mm. a 1-bit serial interface was initially used by MMC but the newer versions allow the transfer of the 4 to 8-bit serial specification.MMC can be used in many devices that use SD cards. The use of MMC for a digital camera is to store image files and the MMC reader will help a reader to copy the files off from the camera and save them into his or her computer. The SD slots best read the MMCs if the both the laptops and the desktops in the modern times have them and then there is a support from the modern systems. The models announced by MMC such as 4GB and 8GB are not yet available but they are to be had up to.
