<\/a>The LG enV Touch is a clamshell phone that has a large, 3-inch external touch screen and a akin 3-inch display inside. It opens sideways, and the extra size makes place for a full QWERTY keyboard within. The two displays really awesome, but there’s a noticeable distinction between them. The interior screen is not a touch screen, and is much darker and richer looking. Where as the external display feels like plastic. It was somewhat dimmer and there was a noticeable screen door effect. Still, it was hard not to be overwhelmed by the 800 by 480 pixel resolution on both displays. <\/p>\nIn spite of some vague touch response, LG has once again tried to increase potency of the Verizon Wireless’ interface design, as they did on the LG Voyager. There is a shortcut for favorite apps and a media file and Web browser. There are a variety of pop up menus that go up, down and menus that slide from side to side. There’s no explanation for this and the interface is short of the elegance of LG’s upscale S-Class interface design. Without doubt it bring about the best apps forward, with some room for customization, but the lack of touch response and the strange organization makes the entire experience a bit less satisfying. On the inside, the LG enV Touch really stands out with a whopping keyboard and an even better display. The menus are not so electrifing while you cannot touch them, but more or less every other feature other than calling is enhanced by opening the clamshell. Beyond the QWERTY keys, the 4-way button on the right side in place for gaming, the shortcuts for springing to favorite contacts, or composing a new message. the LG enV Touch is going to be most viable for this crowd a they have the need to keep opening it for usage; for them this design is surely great.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
