The 1005 is the re-engineered Atom platform which is extremely efficient and runs for more than 8 hours in the battery drain test. Hence it is the most efficient net-book in the market today. The 1005PE incorporates in it most of the recent trends in Net-book design with a 10 inch display having 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It uses the Windows 7 operating system and 1GB RAM and 800MHz DDR2. The hard drive is 160GB with 5400rpm. It uses the Intel NM10 chipset and an integrated Mobile Intel GMA 3150 graphics set.
