Google has started implementing the video ads on the you tube ads you publish on your website.<\/p>\n

\"YouWe all are familiar with YouTube as the video broadcaster website. YouTube is a website where users can upload, view and share their own video clips. YouTube was created by three PayPal employees in mid February 2005. The three creators are Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. In 2006, Google purchased it in $1.65 billion. YouTube has completed just two years but it is already the most visited website in the world. YouTube has already become famous and many people use for sharing their views through videos.<\/p>\n

How do I earn with video units?
\nWhen you place a video unit on your website, you’ll earn revenue from two types of ad formats: companion ads, which sit above your video content within the player and can be either text or image-based, and text overlay ads, which appear in the bottom 20% of the video content area. Ads on video units can be paid on either a cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand impression basis.<\/p>\n

Chad Hurley and Steve Chen just wanted to share some videos from a dinner party for their friends. It was January 2005; they tried sending the videos through e-mail, used some file uploading websites but at the end didn\u2019t find a right solution. Due to the big size of the videos, the e-mail used to get rejected which was a headache for them. After all this, they thought to make their own simple design which can help them sharing their videos. They created the website and named it as YouTube, in just 11 months it became one of the most popular website on Net. It got famous in no time because the website was designed so that people can post their videos in almost as less as 10 minutes. It has become a TV station where you can find all videos, sports highlights. Now a days you can do a lot things using YouTube. YouTube also provide embedded links, HTML links which you can add in your Website. Video feeds of YouTube videos can also be easily embedded on blogs and other websites. YouTube prohibits the posting of copyrighted video by anyone but the copyright holder however, restriction of copyrighted material has proven very difficult.<\/p>\n

It has become a good place for videographers as well as amateurs. Working of YouTube is easy to understand, Videos are streamed to users on YouTube site or via blogs. YouTube supports AVI, MOV and MPEG video formats from almost all the video cameras, digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones and the recommended format of videos are DivX, XviD, and MPEG-4. Best resolution is 320×240. All the videos are converted to flash video, and to view the videos from YouTube site, you need to have Flash player installed in your computer.<\/p>\n
