X-Mini Happy Speaker Review – Photos & Video

November 6, 2010 by Amit Bhawani

The X-Mini HAPPY is one of the best products by X-mini which always does not need a connection to any music player, or laptop or a phone for the playing of music. It comes with a slot for memory card to be chipped in, and play the music. It’s the perfect way to take your music along. Unlike the previous generations and other models of X-mini speakers, this is a portable speaker which can act as an MP3 player apart from just a speaker.

The X-mini HAPPY speakers produce a high decibel, clear quality sound powered by the X-mini Bass Xpansion System. This is another model from X-mini speakers which provides a good battery life, giving around 10 hours of playback time. It is pretty user-friendly with a single button, that controls the power, and the song playing functions. This is pretty disadvantageous too, as there is no control on the volume due to this, and any problem arising with this key would render the speaker to be of no use. Another disadvantage of the X-mini HAPPY is that it has no memory and starts playing the very first song again when the SD card is inserted and player is switched on.

The X-mini HAPPY features the Buddy-jack option through which one speaker can be connected to another capsule or other X-mini HAPPY speaker to enhance the volume level. The 40mm drivers within the speaker has a good bass strength. The speakers come with a pouch in the pack for traveling purpose. Priced at $79 it is one of the good mini speakers, which has got a modification to work as an MP3 player when not in connection with a music source.

Love the way an option to plug in the SD card and play the media is provided. We always won’t need to connect the speakers to the computer to play the music. The speakers priced at $79 is a great deal, but would you list out any other differences between this X-mini happy and the basic X-mini speakers of the basic model earlier.
