BSNL Broadband Unlimited Home Plans Tariff Slashed

Home » BSNL Broadband

BSNL Broadband Services earlier this month announced that they have reduced their broadband pricing on the Unlimited Home Plans of their Dataone 900 and 900 Plus plans which were considered to be one of the most applied broadband plans because of the unlimited data download features and 256kbps speed.

BSNL Broadband

BSNL is one of the best broadband services and with this kind of price decrease they can surely expect a high coverage with lot more clients signing up for their services. They also started offering free modems for 8Mbps broadband users in order to gain more clients which airtel was going to get for their Airtel 8Mbps Package.

All the existing customers under 900 & 900 Plus plans will be automatically shifted to the new pricing with effect from April 2008 and you dont need to contact the customer service about price changes.

    hi..can i knw d time 4 unlimited downloads at n8 in home500 plan..cuz my bbusage bill kills me.im running over free usages..and wich s d best plan

    joe Reply:

    @maya,
    I must say 500 is the best plan..
    the unlimited usage starts from 2am till 8am
    but its bsnl na so usually the free usage timing will start with a delay i mean… it will start in a range from 2am till 2.21am..
    i must say you better start with it from 2.30…

    @maya,
    and still if you cant keep your limit under this you better take 750 unlimited plan…
    and if you need speed i think you take plans above 1000 so you will get more free usage

    @maya, Night unlimited plan is 2 am to 8 am. Better u start at 2:05 and stop at 7:55 or before. I use to download min 2 gb. Don’t forget to switch off at 7:55

    n also there is frequent disconnection…….

    joe Reply:

    @baskar,
    if the frequent disconnection also cuts the ADSL link
    then it will be line complaint
    call 198 and register a complaint

    [Reply]

    baskar Reply:

    @joe,
    thanks joe
    i think its a better idea to register a complain
    i’ll do n say u

    [Reply]

    joe Reply:

    @baskar,
    you have to complaint to higher or regional officers if they delay their work..
    its BSNL

  • monti says:

    KB=8 kb
    it means if u have 256 kbps speed then you get maximum 256 kbps (256/8=32 KBps)

    So next time onwards dont confuse with KBPS and kbps.

My Land Line Number is 07122233057 and my Mobile No is 9422865554. I request you to send me the details of 3 G services and their charges. I am already a subscriber for ISEE on my Mobile but I am unable to view the ISEE as the updated link is not sent ot me. I request you to take care and provide me the requested services i.e. change in broad band plan and ISEE updated Link.

    @Nandkumar Pande,
    The 3G bsnl connection sucks
    we wont get the 2 Mbps speed as they say..
    we get that speed for downloading using some download managers but we wont get it for browsing

    so its better you prefer home unlimited for 750

    but if you need more speed for browsing you need to take 500 or any plan above that as we get unlimited night downloads

    @baskar, Brother, go for BSNL 500C for which they charge 500 bucks with 1.5 gb free + 175 call free + Night unlimited download. The speed compared to 750 plan is far better. In my system i get upto 1.8mbps in night. I easily downloads 2 gb on night unlimited. One more plan is 500C+ in this plan:
    2.5 gb free download
    Night unlimited
    50 local calls
    600 Rental

    @vasanthi.R, Just Take a white paper
    write a letter to your bsnl officer of your exchange mentioning you need to change the plan from the current plan to 750 unlimited
    you will be migrated to the 750 plan from the next month
