In the first update it was implemented only in the United States, where in everyone was expecting eHow to be going down but it actually gained. Now in the second update finally eHow content generation machine has finally lost a lot of keywords in the SERPS.

Avinash – this has been the cases with most of the bloggers and there is nothing really which they could do. Just wait and work on better stuff for positive trends.

  9. Bimal Roy says

I was expecting a better experience with my site after the panda update. But it has happened just the opposite. Some specific content scrapers are copying most of my articles (some copy all posts) and give no link back or any credit. And they are ranking above me. I noticed that for a specific keyword, three sites which scraped my content is ranking above me, I repeat 3 sites! The image they use have my name on it!

I think Google is promoting content scrapping with this Panda update! I am so irritated because, I have been working hard on my site for over an year and now some one else copying my work is getting the credit for it.

I hope Google looks into this serious problem and fix it soon.

Amit, any idea about Ezinearticle.com traffic. In the first update, it was perhaps one of biggest traffic losers. But how are they doing with second update? They seem to have made lots of changes to their system to match up with Google algo…

Yes, Clearly noticed traffic drop in my 2 main sites.. 1 site which was getting traffic of 8K UV per day is getting traffic of 1500 Per day almost 80% Down, another site which was getting abt 15K UV daily traffic is getting ard 10-12K daily traffic means ard 25% drop.

Strange thing is small sites which used to get about 10-15K UV per month are getting more traffic, specially my health blog traffic is increased by 30%.

God known How to understand their algo and When they gona imply this in India.

Hey Amit, I am following your blog since long time.. Yes I have seen, Google Panda algorithm updated and results found totally reverse in so many sites. Main focus is in copy content and you will lose your ranking and traffic. I think that is really good move by Google…

This is a crappy update. I don’t mind being thrown into the 3rd pages if the sites ranking above me are quality ones.

But there are many sites with 20 pages and even a squidoo lens on getting top 10 ranks in my niche. What the heck ? My site is over 5 years old with hundreds of pages and has been scrapped many times by other sites. Surely Google cannot penalize me for this ?

  29. Timothy says

    April 24, 2011 at 3:19 am

One of my main niche sites lost 45% of its traffic from April 1 til now. It is very discouraging to have invested so much of my time into generating original content, just to have my efforts plundered in a few days.

What were they thinking? I mean it’s great that content farms got hit and spammy sites, but there have been many websites with excellent original content that have suffered greatly.
