Komli CPM Ads Revenue Report – Indian Ad Network

June 5, 2009 by Amit Bhawani

I have been searching for different CPM networks which pay good and based on this search i have found komli.com ad network which is operated in India. I initially felt it would be a good option for my websites which get Indian Traffic mainly and i implemented these ads for day back on this blog to first know the revenue i would be making and the eCPM iam going to get from this. If you remember i wrote about the ads iam currently using which are Tribal Fusion ads paying for global traffic.

Komli LogoAnyway back to the topic, Komli offers you with multiple ad formats listed under the Tags section which are – 120×600, 160×600, 728×90, 300×250 & 468×60 and you can also select Pop-Up Ads if you are not interesting in promoting their Banner Ads. The revenue from this network is not very high because they basically pay for Indian Traffic and its really less but still can be accounted as a supplementary source of revenue from your website.

Komli Revenue Stats

When you check these stats in detail you will find that the very first day of my report with Komli shows that i had recieved around 1.5$ eCPM and around 900Rs on the very first day of implementation of their single 300×250 ad on my blog. The ads were always filled which is a nice feature because they always have geo-targetted advertisers and this is the reason you get paid for every impression on your website.

After couple days i found that the impressions count was increasing for me but the stats were going drastic with eCPM down to 20Rs – 0.5$ or less and this sequence is going on. This may be because of my ad placement in the sidebar botton or the footer section, and if you may try to run these ads on a higher location like near the header or top sidebar you can expect more revenue because komli seems to be paying more when there are conversions for their ads. In short if they are making money from your placed advertisements you get a better eCPM rate.

Overall its a network which pays less but when you have no other option of getting approvals, this is a must try network. What other CPM networks do you use and what is the eCPM rate you are getting from them?

I am right now using infolinks, adsense and chitika collectively. It is interesting to see an Indian company trying to find her room in the big internet market.
Will love to give it a try on some of my sites.

Thanks for the info buddy 😉

    Hi Amit,

It seems that most of the CPM networks require you to have substantial traffic which is, for a new blog, not possible. Does Komli accept new blogs?

@Amit, Yes they do accept every website i guess because there were not many terms listed and i have seen komli ads on less traffic websites too.

But bookmarked this post for future reference.

    Thanks again

I’ve tried komli, was seriously bad interms of revenue. Actually I have seen them using other ad network (acting as the middle men) and providing publisher the adbanner and therefore I had to quit it.. That was 6 months ago and from the post, I don’t think they have improved :S

Ohana Media ( ohana-media.com ) is an ad network targeting India, Middle East and south East Asia regions. We have two networks ‘Ohana Brand’ – A cluster of premium content websites and ‘Ohana Direct’ – A performance network. We are hoping to make it to the top-10 very soon.

    Update:
The review seems interesting, but today when I saw their terms they have clearly mentioned that “Approval of membership in the Network is
limited only to the domains and/or specific root URLs for which Publisher has
    applied for approval by Komli.”
Also your blog should not be hosted on any platform for free.
