What is the Best Niche for your website?

November 5, 2007 by Amit Bhawani

Are you one of those who keep searching for keyword suggestions, researching others websites on how to make money online and keep searching for the best niche for your best website? The time has come to end all this stuff and start working on any niche which you feel you are expert in.

There are many people who have hundreds of websites and they dont even make a 1000$/month and there are webmasters who have single websites and make thousands of dollars single handed. The only reason behind that is the dedication implementation, and interest towards that niche. I would suggest you to first read the steps to start a new website , Selecting Domain Name – SEO Tips and then most important of all , select the only niche which you think is your favourite one.

Confused how to select the niche?
Just take down a blank paper and think about any topic to write and Note down first 5 topics that came to your mind , and now start writing anything randomly on the first 5 topics you selected , quickly and original. Dont try to cheat ourself and try to copy from online source, and then select the best topic written by yourself. Iam sure this will be your favourite topic and now you need to make a website on this topic itself because you are able to write on this personally when you dont find content writers.

Another advantage of running a website on your favourite niche is that, you will yourself get many ideas to run your websites rather than comparing with the competitors in the same industry and this way you can make your website rank in the top and give you a long term return.

I think it has to do with selecting profitable search terms to start with. If you were running a regular store you don’t advertise in the Ghetto. For websites you do not go after search terms found to be used by tire kickers or non buyers.

This post describes about the best niche on which one can start a website.

It’s really a good point which covers the area of interest and knowledge. But, this is a small part of whole story.

After this there are so many factors which plays role in making money online.
To earn money online you have to be popular on internet in your niche, getting traffic to your site and much more.

So, a whole lot of hard work is required to publish and gain visitors. It’s very hard to earn money from the beginning.

I think you’re trying to tell us , event if I found “best niche” it’s not best enough until I “love” that niche right? Until I dedicate all my resource to that niche.
    Thx, Amit.
