Once you have completed the Jailbreaking Procedure with Jailbreakme your device should be ready to be unlocked and usable with any cellular network. If you still have not jailbroken first, check out the Steps to Jailbreak Apple iPhone following which there may be some issues like Purple Screen Error which is because of huge server load. Once the whole task is completed with JailbreakMe 2.0 Star you should get ready to unlock your device which is possible with Ultrasn0w application which is supported upto baseband of 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.

Tap on the Cydia Icon on your home screen and then tap on the Manage button. Here you will have to tap on the Sources button followed by adding a new source.

Tap on the ‘Edit’ link on the top right and then, tap on the ‘Add’ button the top left. You will be asked to enter a Cydua/APT URL Source where you will have to enter ‘http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com‘ and then tap on Add source.

Cydia Source Packages

Once the source is added you will be able to find ‘ultrasnow 0.93’ in cydia which you will have to install by tapping on the ‘Install’ button which will download 48kb around of data and install it by downloading Mobile Substrate and then preparing it followed by reboot of the device.

The key to this unlock is that you are going to have Cydia application on your device after the Jailbreakme.com Jailbreak following which you need to unlock it by adding its source. If you own a Apple iPhone 4, there is a new release coming up for the same. We tried the device using major Indian SIM cards like Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone, Spice, MTNL etc and the device worked perfectly. It works with any Cellular network all around the world.
