Melbourne Scientists has discovered that using Photonic Integrated Circuits which uses as a switching path on a small scratch on a piece of glass. This new technology would offer internet users with error free high speed internet access anywhere all over the world with network connectivity. The best advantage of this service is that if it would really work out internet would be cost free all over the world. The way railway trains use tracks and switch tracks the switch on these glass is made in picoseconds one of the fastest time factor which is a millionth part of a second and in short would mean that within a seconds time the switch would turn On & Off a million times and the data transfer would be in the range of one terabit per second.
The current tests and speed tests have shown that the transfer is around 60 times more faster but the scientists are working on this and trying to achieve broadband speeds which would be 100 times more faster than the current network speeds. In India a internet connection with speeds of 256kbps is considered as Broadband Internet where as in other countries speeds of 2Mbps is considered as a minimum speed base which means that with a newer technology the developing countries can get higher speeds for communication and this can lead into more technology updates which is wanted than needed.

We are not talking about 100 times of a typical Indian broadband connection but 100 times faster than the current maximum internet speeds available and it would help you in downloading complete video movies within seconds, allow high end online gaming and HD Video telephony and a scope of a better technological future. Lets wait and watch on more updates on this Photonic Integrated Circuits.
wow. thanks for this information..
I think cost free and more speeder internet is really a great concept,I have been hearing from so many years that, BSNL broadband in india is going to implement more faster internet and free interenet, but this has never happened till now,
I think Bsnl will use this technology- Photonic Integrated Circuit to implement free and fast internet.
This is cool… If PIC technology is implemented in India, it will revolutionize the IT industry…
can i make it at home
