If you are using Windows7 Operating system on your computer and are looking for ways to remove the following antivirus problem then you need to download any of the following 3 antivirus programs recommended by microsoft.
You can download any versions of these applications ie free/paid/trail and install on your PC. Its recommended to go for paid version which can later be used on another PC when your windows 7 licence is expired.

AVG – Avg is one of the best antivirus available which offers a full featured free version. The paid version would cost you 34.99 USD along with support of the same licence for multiple operating systems ie Windows 7, Vista, Xp & 2000.
Kaspersky Lab – This Anti-Virus system has specially launched a version for Windows 7 which can be directly downloaded from the website. Currently kaspersky is offer a complete free version with no paid version information
Symantec Norton – A Special Norton 360 Version 3.0 Beta version is available for download at the Symantec website, where you need to signup for the program and get the download links.
Currently iam using Kaspersky 2009 since i have got licenced version and its working fine on my windows 7 based PC. Which antivirus program are you using?

Hello amitbhawani-dot-com,
Thank you for publishing this informative summary of antiVirus (anti virus) software solutions available for Microsoft Windows 7 (beta) users / testers. As the reader might guess, I’ve finally installed Windows 7 (build 7000, beta).
I’m fortunate to have followed the link to amitbhawani.com when I queried for “recommended freeware antivirus ‘windows 7′” because you provide a practical recommendation– useful advice for Windows 7 users, by providing an illustration (screen capture) indicating precisely the nature of the Windows 7 alert message, so any users who might be uncertain if they are taking the proper action will better understand that the information provided here is relevant to their problem, and that’s comforting news for a newbie (or beginner computer users). Nice work!
FYI: I selected Kaspersky based on the recommended software titles listed here, as well as what i learned from the several different OEM product summaries i read.
I didn’t notice it from this article (maybe i missed the comment?), but according to the Kaspersky anti-virus I’ve d/l for Windows 7, it is more of a suite– complete with a Firewall. I’m glad of that, because it saves me the time i would otherwise have had to spend, just like with the Anti-Virus software– actively researching the best solutions for a Windows 7, 3rd-party Firewall! Kaspersky is the top-find, indeed! 🙂
Best regards, and thanks for the tips!
