Bill Gates wife Melinda Gates has banned iPods & iPhones from their house may be because of security reasons or for Microsoft having some hate feeling with Apple. She said she does not have any problem with these devices but she wants her kids to stay away from these stuff at Bill Gates Home.
Seems like Microsoft guys are against Apple & Google stuff because Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer previously stated that his kids were not allowed to use iPod’s nor have access to Google.
Do you think these kind of steps can stop Microsoft kids to get access to these devices is the right step?
I wrote this once, and am remembering now…

This is the stupidity to say iPods are best players, but you don’t use it because it is made by our competitors. If there were other best things, why would those kids think of iPods?
Also, I have read somewhere Vista is mostly copied from Mac, what if all Microsoft staff are barred access to Mac?
One more thing, I have seen some photograph where Steve Ballmer himself using macbook on a presentation…
