Blackberry Curve 8900 Review

Blackberry Curve 8900 is a favorite member of the Blackberry series of mobile phones. Though Curve is not as big as bold, but it definitely has the punch of top notch features, perfect size, excellent QWERTY keypad and high resolution screen. The device is just apt for emailing. Among the many features, the most prominent highlights of Blackberry Curve 8900 are built in music player, 3.2 mega pixel camera, Wi Fi connectivity, powerful battery and loads of memory. Here is detailed information on some of the key features of Blackberry Curve 8900.

  • The Camera – Blackberry Curve 8900 features envious camera wit 3.2 mega pixels, auto focus and LED flash. This assures that the camera can even click clear images during the poor light conditions. In fact the camera of Curve 8900 is better than Bold. The quality of images is almost similar to that of Storm. The print quality of images is of exceptionally good quality.
  • The Media Player – Blackberry Curve 8900 features built in media player that can add play lists and organize music files according to the album or artist. The music player is quite loud and it also proves a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The music player of Blackberry Curve 8900 can also support stereo Bluetooth headset. Even the video player of Curve 8900 is good. The video player is compatible with DivX and XviD videos and can play the files on high resolution LCD display.
  • The Connectivity – There are loads of choices when it comes to connectivity options of Blackberry Curve 8900. The Wi Fi connection can be easily established to enjoy seamless email access of web, PC data or email. In addition there are USB and Bluetooth 2.0 for enjoying smooth data transfer facilities.

Similar to the other phones in the Curve series, the 8900 comes with full QWERTY keypad with 35 keys and a trackball. The look is quite similar to that of the Bold apart from the fact that Blackberry Curve 8900 is small and light comparatively. The device is easy to carry off as it can easily slip into the pocket of jeans or jacket.

    This is one of the best and simplest mobile in the Blackberry series, with the QWERTY keypad and the 3.2-megapixel camera. The trackball would be a savior from the continuous use of keys for everything. Is the phone coming unlocked or with some carrier just like the other devices of Blackberry?
