BSNL Broadband 8Mbps Connection with Free Modem

February 21, 2008 by Amit Bhawani

BSNL BroadbandNow its time for you to work on increasing internet speed, because BSNL Broadband services has also started a new package which is at par with the Airtel 8Mbps Broadband plans and is available for all the Business customers.

The current packages are offering with no fixed internet speeds but are going to be offered in range of speeds which you can find in the following packages.
Total Plan Types : 3
Types : Business 2000 | Business 4000 | Business 15000
Bandwidth : 256 kbps/Upto 8 Mbps | 1 Mbps/ Upto 8 Mbps | 2 Mbps/ Upto 8 Mbps
Monthly charges (Rs) : 2000Rs | 4000Rs | 15000Rs
Download/ Upload limit : 12 GB | 27GB | 125 GB
Free Modem : No | Type II | Type II

The packages seem to be good for business users but again the download limits are going to make business users to upgrade to these new packages, and these packages also dont offer free unlimited downloads in the night time. Currently BSNL is also trying to bring in new and new packages in order to stay in the market and level up their competitors packages but the service quality is never looked into by any of these broadband service providers. Lets wait and watch when will these plans be announced for Home users with unlimited download options.

  25. complaints india says

    March 25, 2010 at 3:22 pm

The users expecting top speed from BSNL need to be told the background. BSNL broad band is deliverd over the existing landline

connection. The land line cables are in a terribly messy state all over India. The telephone cables are damaged by all and sundry while

digging along roads. Though BSNL may offer high speed, most people get low dial up speed or face continuous disconnection due to faulty

telephone line. BSNL should first get their last mile connectivity in place before coming up with such grand schemes.

my broadband plan is in bsnl 1111 with 2mbps speed but bsnl didnot provide me that speed,i have complained many times but bsnl didn”t respond my complaint.i am in gonda (U.P.),i need support & information about this very matter……………………………
their speed is never constant,it is variable…………..

  27. shashi says

    April 30, 2010 at 6:32 am

don’t take bsnl broadband plan 1111…
i took it and for first 1 month i got good speed of 1.5 mbps…
but now getting only 0.25 mbps

there is not problem in the wifi or the line…

they just block ur speed and we have to suffer…as they cannot afford to give just speed and 15gb usage for mere 1111..

So i’m planning to go with airtel plan of 2999 with 8mbps of which u get around 3.5 mbps i checked at my friend… and service is awesome…

BSNL don’t have good staff or computer knowledge person… so if any problem comes in net you are dead….

So i decided better pay some more bucks… but have a peacefull high band connection

Look its impossible gets 2mbps speed in 750plan, because speed is restricted to 256kbps as per my knowledge.
if u want faster torrent downloads choose only those torrents which have good seeders and leechers.
u can give try to btjunkie.org. you can opt for bsnl 600combo.
monthly download limit 2.5gb and night(2AM-8AM) unlimited download.

That is somewhat good news. when will we get rid of these download limits? This is so sad that our western counterparts enjoy almost 5x speeds at about the same price or less without any restrictions.
