BaseKit LogoBuild Websites Easily with BaseKit – Designers cannot write lengthy codes while the Programmers cannot design beautiful designs using Photoshop, but you without any of these skills can still build a excellent website with the use of a readymade PSD file by converting it to live website using the WYSIWYG Editor offered by BaseKit.

The service is totally unique because you don’t have to do any hard job and just create a simple free account in the beginning to get started. BaseKit offers with three different types of memberships under which you can get started with the trial package which offers with unlimited access for 30days along with the whole setup under a sub domain. Once you complete this you will get access to the User Panel where you can start setting up your Dynamic Website with Social Media Support like Twitter Updates & Displaying RSS Feed Items from your favorite Blogs. The Interface is completely different from the Google Pages System.

The first screen would be displayed as shown below asking you to select any one of these to continue access :

  1. Import a Photoshop Design – Import your photoshop design directly into BaseKit. BaseKit converts your layered PSD file into a web page in seconds.
  2. Site Library – Select a site from our site library, which you can edit to your specifications. Pages can be added or deleted.

Since, we didn’t have any ready-made PSD file to get started we continued towards selecting the second option which would import a predesigned site which can be easily customized. Next the website editor would display different themes ranging from Tutorial Themes to Small Business Themes out of which you need to select one.

We have created a small video demo of how to create a quick website using BaseKit interface and how to customize it easily.
