Overall everything looks good, but i would like the Customers ask Airtel these questions before they opt in for the service.
1. Why is Google Adsense not allowed in the small package? Is the restriction only made to make sure that the customer upgrades?
2. Is adding Titles, Keywords & Description to your Web Pages called as Search Engine Optimization?
3. Is the web hosting offered by them Linux or Windows based?
4. If you dont have a DSL ID and still want to signup for, is it possible?
5. If the service is based on the mentioned 15000 templates what are they charging for on the monthly basis?

Overall a simple cloned template based site with Airtel would cost you 250 * 12 + 1000 = 4000Rs which is not really worth the money because of complete limited features. Good Luck to airtel and their services but its better if they continue their Broadband services and improve them.

Even simple wordpress cannot be installed because there is no listing of databases mentioned in the list.

What about who wishes to run other cms/blogs ?
There is no mention of ftp or ftp accounts or control panel they provide.
Practically speaking there’s nothing like “unlimited” disk space or bandwidth. No provider on earth can give it. It has to be “unmetered”
Regarding the online store, ccAvenue costs double the rate these guys have mentioned as set-up fee. So, I think they are no going to add ccavenue gateway (indian debt card payment access gateway) to the business plan users.

What if you discontinue using the broadband service?
Do they allow you to transfer the domain with no charges later?
Marketing features, goodies and website builders are trash.
    This is totally ridiculous.

I guess Airtel has there own datacenter in India (not sure) and is planning to take advantage of the dusted servers lying.

@Amit: It doesn’t really matter if the server is linux/windows. ‘cos they are no way providing database feature

It think it will be just useful for people who simply needs a website on their names or company. Not useful for professional bloggers.

Not a good deal from this type of company. There are many misleading features.i.e. google analytics which is free service for all….etc..

250 figure is just to catch the attention some thing like marketer use “free” The best package seems to be the top one, though hard to say what kind of quality they will actually provide.

Amit, the features of their hosting does in now compare to a professional hosting which is much cheaper and more feature backed. Airtel will face very stiff competition from a lot of smaller players who are established in the hosting business. These days customers dont JUST need a site builder software but they want the flexibility to do a lot of things which Airtel simply ain’t giving. I have made a comparision between airtel and professional hosting here
