How to Export Facebook Friends Email address

November 16, 2010 by Neal

facebook logoFacebook doesn’t generally allow people to share the data of your friends or even doesn’t allow mass export of all the contacts with email ids of your friends directly. But a tool from Yahoo can be used which will enable you to download all private email addresses of your friends. All you will need is just a Yahoo Mail account and an obvious facebook account. So let’s start with the procedure where in you can compile all your friends at one place.

Procedure to export contacts:

  • First you have to visit address.yahoo.com and on the screen you will find four different options as shown below like facebook, G Mail, Windows Live Hot mail and others. Since you need to have all facebook contacts, click on facebook icon to proceed.

  • As soon as you click on facebook icon, you will be required to sign in first and once you are done then a new pop up window will be popped up where in you need to authorize the sharing just by clicking on OK as shown below:

  • Now after clicking on OK, within few seconds depending upon the number of contacts, you will receive a screen saying that your contacts have been successfully imported as shown below.

  • Once the contacts are imported, click on this to download a CSV file of your choice as shown below which has all the email addresses of all your Facebook contacts to your desktop.

Once you find the above window, you can export the way you want, be it with Microsoft Outlook, Netscape / Thunderbird, Yahoo CSV format, v Card single file or even on v Card zip or .vcf file

Sharing with Yahoo added those current account names with the previous contacts that were already in my Yahoo account, so before you do this sharing process make sure that the contacts list is empty or share it with any new yahoo account of yours so that only the contacts list of the Facebook account is shown.
