Many times you would have wanted to extract the background from an image. Now, this post will help you on extracting the background from an image from a simple tool which is present in Microsoft Office 2010 product.
1. First of all insert image of which you wish to extract the background into your Microsoft office Word or Power point 2010 client and then double click on image, after double clicking on image, on top you will find Pink “picture tools” tab along with the “Remove background” tab on top left hand side.
2. After clicking on the “Remove Background” option, you will have to select the area from which you wish to extract the background or also you can select the areas which you wish to remove and then after selecting click on tab “keep changes” after which image will turn pink in the areas where the image is selected for the removal of the background.
3. There you are, you can now see that the back ground image has been extracted which is shown below in the form of Microsoft Office logo which had been extracted from the image file. We now have successfully extracted the background of the selected part of the image with just few clicks. Kindly note that this tool is only available to pptx and also to docx files only and also the results may not be perfect as the results may vary as per the image clarity.
To enhance the picture quality, you can also use “Picture formatting” tools by applying shadows, borders etc. With so much of ease you can extract the background from any sort of image, next time you don’t need to waste time in understanding the difficult tools of formatting in either Adobe photo shop or other complex photo editing tools. With the help of “Back ground Removal” tool in MS Office products its possible to extract the back ground in just three simple steps.
Kindly note that this feature is only available in Microsoft Office Word 2010 and Microsoft Office Power point 2010.
