How to Find Blog Topics + Improve Visitor Count

Hello Amit sir, I am a great fan of your blog, of which has inspired me to write a blog of mine few months back. I got a domain from hyperwebenable last month to blog on. But being a newbie to this wonderful world of blogging, I am completely confused and wondering for content to write on. As I started to write a blog of mine due to inspiration of your work, I thought that it would be much better to ask you for some blogging tips.

I have some doubts and question to ask you about blogging –
1] Where to find content for writing a good post.(* most buzzing question in my mind)
2] Please take a look at my previous posts on my blog and suggest how should I improve the quality of my posts.
3] Suggest some hot tips for improving the visitor count.

As I am the smallest member in my family doing my 11th science, last week my uncle gifted me with the premium version of Arthemia as a gift for my good work(as per him). So I don’t want to look back now after getting such a wonderful gift, but I can’t go further being a newbie. So sir I request you to please help me by giving your precious tips.

It takes months to years in order to get real success in web blogging because you need to focus completely on this business, with great dedication and also needs a lot of interest. If you are blogging for making money then you are not going to see success because money may come for few months but the flow wont continue and the technology niche is something which most bloggers get into feeling that its really easy to write anything and make money through it. But there are many other niche which can be monetized in a better way which i will be discussing in the later stage.

1. How to Find Content & Topics in order to write a good blog post – If you are a techie then you should always keep yourself updated with the best available tool ie the Google Alerts where you can monitor few keywords related to your blog like Apple, Apple iPhone, Macbook, Free Softwares, Download Applications etc and whenever there is some news or web buzz for any of these keywords you will get a instant email with links to the website which have the information. You can write articles on these and make sure that the topic title is quite different and the content is also based on your own review and is not just a copy paste stuff. You can also check out the following tech blogs and websites like TUAW, tech-faq.org, Slashdot, Gizmodo, Engadget etc which have seriously killer news and content, helpful in getting content ideas.

2. Improve Current Content Quality – You need to make sure that you can write in a few pillar articles for your blog which are helpful in the long run along with some articles which are normally having very less competition to keep your blog unique unlike others. You should also make sure that the blog posts you generally write are atleast 250 words each and at times you can write mini posts but this should not be a daily habit because detailed articles are always liked by the visitors.

3. Increasing Visitors Count – In order to increase blog readers you need to continiously blog on a daily schedule, make sure you dont miss a day. Promote your blog through Social Media & Social Networking websites like Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Propeller, Mixx, Delicious, Rambhai, Jumptags and get one way links to your blog posts along with some excellent traffic. Also join few technology or webmaster related forums and ask the members with suggestions related to your blog. Submit few articles to different Article Directories and also submit your blog to a few quality web directories in the most relevant category. Avoid installing a forum or any extra stuff on your website unless you have got a good amount of content on them, because blank pages are in no way useful.

Make sure all your Images are SEO Friendly with Alt & Title Tags. Dont forget one thing, the way you cannot miss a day in your Job the same way you cannot miss a day from blogging and you need to very serious about this because the seriousness is going to pay you one day.
