One way to Improve the LCD Image Quality is by cleaning LCD Screen perfectly and while doing this if you find there are some dots which are not being removed then there is no need to push harder because this is something you cannot remove and these are the pixels which have gone dead and cannot be removed. Hence next time you start pressing your fingers or a cloth on these small dots be careful because you could tear away your total screen thinking that as some sticky dust particles.

Here is a very nice application which can help you in finding dead pixels on your LCD screen which don’t work now and look like some small dots which you normally confuse yourself as dust particles. Check out DPT which is a small application which directly runs and does not need to be installed. Basically what this software does is that it would scan and find out all the defects. Lets see how to make sure that this small software would work out.

First of all clean your LCD Screen thoroughly following which you need to set your monitor to the maximum resolution it offers using the Display Properties option. Next run Dead Pixel Tester which will show you a full screen of a random color along with a settings box in the middle where you can configure the settings. Every time you select some new colour, you need to drag the tester box over your screen slowly and see if you find any blank dots which when colour changes, still remain blank confirming that they are dead.

Nice software. Finding the dead pixels is not easy directly until you actually get some technical help. But this tool does the things easier.
