Well, its a smart scheme because the customer is locked with Fujitsu and they cannot buy any 3rd party hardware upgrades and have to always buy products from Fujitsu in case they are looking for upgrades, accessories etc. Another point is that many customers would even forget about this scheme after buying the laptop since they may go for a better advanced model or would migrate to another location , which would save up some of the companies money. This means that once the 3 years time is passed away the customer needs to apply for the new laptop within 21 days or else the offer would pass away and this is for sure that many customers would forget to contact the company on time.
The pricing of these laptops are not yet fixed up by the company and they are looking for launching the same scheme for their Esprimo range. Lets see what the final pricing would come out along with the new conditions to the customers.
