How to Create PowerPoint Slides and Save on DVD?

May 24, 2008 by Amit Bhawani

I always use the PowerPoint service to finish the slide shows of my university projects. The process of creating the PowerPoint slide is very easy. You have to first crate the layout according to your own choice and then go to the Slide Show option to choose ‘View Show’.

Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation

This slide show is obviously of superior quality but the show provided by the DVD player is much better.

Why is the Slide Show of DVD Player Looks to Be Better in Quality?
The DVD player does not need a computer to show the slide show presentations, so it is convenient for people who does not have a PC. If you have missed any presentation, it will be automatically rewind. The presentations viewed in a DVD player will give you the feel of a television, and it will also have a very professional look.

How to convert the Presentations?
When I first heard that a PowerPoint file can be converted into a DVD, I thought that the process is as simple as writing the PowerPoint file into a DVD. But later I came to know that this is not the exact process. The process is also not very complicated. The procedure has three steps, which are all discussed in this tutorial.

The step one is the capturing step. The majority of the PowerPoint slideshows possess animation effects. You should always preserve this animation effects in the DVDs. Due to this reason, a product named as Camtasia is used for grabbing the slideshow before saving it as video file.

As we are not very technical in nature, the resolution of our PC is very ordinary, but the resolution of DVD is of an higher quality. In the second step, you will have to change the video files captured by you into DVD quality. A product named as Nero Vision Express is used for this conversion of quality. A good DVD menu is created in the same step.

In the third and the final step, the one thing left is burning the DVD disk. After burning the DVD we will obtain the converted form of the PowerPoint presentation in DVD file format.

Microsoft Powerpoint Burn DVD

The process may appear a bit lengthy to you, but it is not at all a tough one. When you will perform the entire procedure by your own, it will not appear as a tough one to you any more.
