The first step is to download virtual Dub. Make sure to keep Virtual Dub in a folder on your hard drive. Instillation is very easy. Once installed the program is launched by clicking on the virtual dub icon. Then you have to click on the video which you want to resize. The video opens as two images one original and the other altered. You can watch both the videos at the same time. Both the videos appear the same because nothing has been done. The next step is to click on the filter icon which shows many option ignore all except the resize option, after selecting the resize option either you type in the resolution you want or say relative making it 50 % of the original resolution. The original video is seen on the right side and the altered one on the left side; you should save the file by clicking on file and save as AVI.
