One of the other tips that once helped me save my phone (not an iPhone though), was the draining of the water by putting the phone in the rice and wrapping it with a blotting paper. The circuit might sometimes get damaged when you suddenly expose the phone’s internal parts to the sunlight, so it’s good if you try the tips that help in normal light, and not the natural sunlight.

We have seen there are phones by Samsung with water resistant, don’t know how exactly they are called so. If your cell phone falls inside water then are 10 % chances that your cell phone will work properly.
