HTC S730 Mobile Phone Review

The HTC S730 is a compact smart phone. It is an upgrade from the S710. The HTC S730 is a business orientated device that allows busy professionals to take their office with them.

The physical appearance of the phone includes its thickness, the sides of the phone are characterized by a volume controller, button for wireless access on its left and microSD and camera button on the right side. On the front is a regular alphanumeric keyboard. It has a narrow width giving it a slightly different look to the regular mobiles. To view the Qwerty Keyboard you only need to slide the bottom.
The jogging wheel allows for easy movement through menu listing and scrolling web pages, whilst you can be on track of your work with the use of the variety of the secondary applications available on the mobile. An example of a secondary application is Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard. Running Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard, the HTC S730 smartphone features integrated GPS.

This software enables instant access to Outlook. Also user is able to download and send emails and documents, and access weather and traffic updates. It is also a 3G enabled handset allowing for fast internet access fast downloading speeds for items such as ring tones and wallpapers, in addition to new software and software applications. The inclusion of 3G also facilitates face to face video calling with compatible handsets as well as access to the latest news and sports headlines, new movie trailers, music video and MP3 track downloads. Basically user has full access to the media.

This is an interesting upgrade from the preceding S710 model. Making it more efficient is the inclusion of a full slide out 31 key QWERTY keyboard with 32 bit Samsung processor which is 400Mhz. Upgrading of the processor from 200 MHz to 400 MHz made a major difference. This resulted in the improvement in the speed the screen switches when sliding the phone between keypads. An important property of the smartphone is the 255MB flash memory which in turns allows storage and downloading of various types of files.
