Load Multiple Tabs Progressively to Speed up Firefox

June 14, 2010 by Amit Bhawani

Problem : Whenever i restart my computer and start the Firefox Browser i find that the tabs which i had saved previously start loading up and instantly disable the access to the browser. This is because the 50+ tabs keep loading and take up huge resources along with bandwidth usage too, making the PC become slow at startup and also other software’s find it hard to get access to the Internet.

Solution : The problem is actually because of the restoring of the tabs, hence for fixing this you can try to install a firefox add-on which would be helpful in Managing Tab into Groups. If this is something which can increase your work load, then there is another Firefox addon available here.

Load Tabs Firefox

The add-on would actually save up all the tabs which you have opened up, and whenever you restart the browser it would open them one by one, once the next tab is loaded in the browser. You can check on the Auto reload the restored tabs option to get this activated when you restart the browser. A useful add-on when you are on a Slow internet connection because this way you can atleast have access to the loaded up browser tabs.
