Is it possible to logout from my FaceBook account from another computer? I had recently visited a Internet Cafe to access my account and had forgotten to logout and delete my FaceBook Logins from the browser, now will have to revisit the place or can i logout from my office computer?
This is very much possible with the recently announced option of FaceBook which allows their users to remote logout from the service in case they find any suspicious activity or when they find that the Last Accessed Location is not from their own IP. We had recently written a similar topic on Sign out your Gmail Account Remotely which would help the Google Gmail Account users to Signout Gmail Account from another Computer.
To get this task done, you will have to visit your FaceBook Accounts > Account Settings section.
Under the ‘Account Security’ option, click on the change button which would display you View your recent account activity. If you notice an unfamiliar device or location, click “end activity”. You can mouse over the Location in order to get the estimated IP which can help you more on finding the ISP or the users location detail through which they had accessed your FaceBook Account.
Below this there is also a list of ‘Also Active’ which displays all the devices or locations where your current FaceBook Account is active along with last accessed details. You need to click on the ‘End Activity’ link which would disable access to that connection and log your account from that specific device and location. If that connect if your own then there is no need to worry because this feature would just log out your account and you can again relogin to get access.
