Network Monitoring is a very essential task for any Internet Connection user because the service providers may be reporting some false usage reports which *MAY* be setup to over charge you. Hence using tools like Netstat you can easily monitor all the incoming and outgoing data from your computer and give you a report for the same. The tool can also help you in finding the speed of your network connection and also in finding out if you are really getting the speed which the ISP is promising.
The AnalogX NetStat Live (or NSL) can be installed very easily on your computer and once you run the application, the reporting starts. Netstat would display you the last 60seconds data along with the averages of the data transfer rate and the total amount of data send from the computer since the last reboot along with the maximum data transfer rate. You don’t have to configure any hard network related settings because it automatically performs all the tasks and reports you as shown below.
Start -> All Programs -> AnalogX -> Netstat Live -> Netstat Live
In order to change and customize the application you need to right click on it and click on Configure option which will show you a list of few options as shown below.
