I’ve been using this for months now. So that i can browse on my phone too. The main problem with this model/firmware on it is its incompatibility with Steam – the gaming manager.

It drops off connections, takes time to connect. Every time that happens then i’d have to reconnect to my internet as the Router actually dials my ADSL connection.

    Hi,
I am using a NETGEAR WIRELESS-G MODEM ROUTER DG834G which connects my two home Pcs to the internet via ethernet cables & telephone line (so it is a wired brodband connection), however I am trying to connect 2 laptops to the wireless facility – how do I do this?
I am really struggling, do I need a WG111 wireless adaptor or a WG511 Card or should I be able to switch my NETGEAR WIRELESS-G MODEM ROUTER DG834G to wireless some how?
If anyone out there knows put me out of my missery I have been working on this 3 days solid now & none the wiser now, read too many different reviews & how too’s….thanks Debra :o)
