How to Make your PC Connect to Wireless Router

January 3, 2009 by Amit Bhawani

Netgear Wireless Wifi DongleAll the latest Laptops come with inbuilt wifi adapter which can connect to your Wifi Routers and you can experiance a high speed internet connection through out your home, but what if you have multiple PC’s and Internet connection at just one location? Well you can make your PC wireless by connecting it to a Wireless USB 2.0 adapter.

There are numerous models available in the market from different brands like Dlink, Netgear etc. I have already purchased the DLink Wireless G USB Adapter but thats quite costly and if you are looking for a cheaper option then you can check out the NetGear WG111 Wireless USB adapter.

NetGear Wifi USD Dongle

Its very easy to install device and you dont need any extra power supply options as it has a look similar to other USB drivers and works instantly after you configure your network settings. You can use it on both Laptops or Desktop PC’s with support for Windows Vista. It is Standard 802.11g compliant and has security features where you can disable access to your internet without login credentials.
