Apple iPhones always came with a inbuilt feature of playing Youtube videos which was featured in their television advertisements. But you will be delighted to know that Symbian S60 operating system based mobile phones can also handle you tube videos and let you play them with the best quality. Nokia N95 mobile phones have a special applications where the video’s can be viewed in two modes – portrait and landscape mode.
The application named as EmTube offers you many options and settings to play the video files with search and play features. You can play streaming files directly from youtube or else play local flash files. This application is available in multiple languages and multiple mobile phone models and allows you to search, download, manage favorites and view videos on YouTube.
Installation – A sis file (emTube_S60_3_0_v_1_0_2.sisx ) is provided and it contains all files and additional libraries you will need to run emTube. There is no special version for N95 anymore. Instead emTube checks if an accelerometer is available and uses it if your
phone has one. To install emTube transfer the sis file to your phone and then follow the on-screen instruction.
Options in the applications include :
Search – search videos on YouTube.com. You will be asked to enter keywords. You
can separate them with spaces.
Featured – displays a list of “Featured videos” from YouTube.
Top rated – displays a list of highly rated videos from YouTube,
Most watched – a list of videos that have been watched most frequently on
YouTube.
Favorites – displays a list of videos bookmarked by you.
Overall this application would be very useful to all nokia n series based mobile phone users and all Symbian S60 based mobile phones.

I have been using Real Player on my mobile (Nokia E51) to play the YouTube videos, however the resolution was absurd. Will give it a try, hope it is able to view the videos in full screen (unlike Real Player).

Pretty good app. Searching, listing the favorite youtube videos, top rated videos etc. is a nice thing just like the desktop version.
