Rajkumar Hirani Clears Chetan Bhagat Issue with Proofs

We kept talking about Chetan Bhagat, and that he had got good support from fans because the makers of 3 idiots had got him down due to their power and all, which finally proved wrong. All faults are on Chetan Bhagat’s side after Rajkumar Hirani talked everything out, and cleared every doubt of people, and showed how wrong and fake Chetan Bhagat is.

Every wrong allegation was placed against Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Abhijat Joshi and the 3 idiots team. And this was proved by Rajkumar Hirani (director of 3 idiots) with the help of proofs! Vidhu Vinod Chopra had shown the agreement already but still Chetan covered most of them with some or the other point.

Here are a few points which Rajkumar Hirani cleared out –

• Chetan Bhagat said the story of 3 idiots was stolen from the book, entirely. And didn’t mention anything else. Hirani showed the agreement and said that they have paid Rs 10 lakh to buy the story from the writer, and paid before the promised date. So why does Chetan say its a stolen story? The book is bought officially, and contract signed by Chetan himself.
• Chetan wrote in his blog = “They have definitely negated and denied my due credit“.. Hirani truly replies to this saying “The author will be given credit in the rolling credits of the movie, using those mentioned in the contract” and the same was done. Chetan was aware of this, and he signed after reading it.
• Chetan had said “I wanted to see the final script – It was never shown to me”. Hirani had called Chetan Bhagat and narrated the whole modified story for 4 hours, and then got a non-disclosure agreement signed from him, that he agrees with the script written, and the story is narrated to him.

And the video clearly shows that Chetan in an interview is accepting that the story was narrated to him and the movie is not a xerox copy of the book. Rajkumar Hirani didn’t mention it but anyone like him can feel its just a publicity stunt.

Every point that Chetan said was proved wrong with written proofs which were signed by Chetan Bhagat himself. So was all this a PUBLICITY STUNT? What did Chetan Bhagat try to achieve from all this??
