Google Maps is going strong adding features by features and the one which I like is Download Google Maps Offline which allows you to browse Google Maps even though you don’t have access to internet. Rotatable Maps in Google Maps are the new feature by which you can rotate maps upside down, i.e., it turns the normal north facing into down side and so South is up.
Google Maps has introduced the Rotatable Maps feature which once enabled will rotate map in any direction of your choice. This rotation includes from 0 degree to 360 degree.
1. Go to Google Maps and click on the New link found red in color at the top which will list down the new features added recently.
2. Search out for Rotatable Maps and Enable it, by default it will be disabled.
3. Now you will see in the center of the dial there is an option for rotate. Here is the map of North America and Canada been rotated by 180 degree, Greenland come down South. Click on Rot Sat or Rot Map to enable that dial.
