Your friend has shared a USB Drive with you which has got virus in it, he is also having no idea about it and you believe your friend and just start using it. After minutes you find some unexpected surprises in your PC with number of files and folders and some unusual activity on your PC. This clearly means that your PC is effected by a virus which was stored in the USB drive, which is now activated on your computer.
Removing virus from your pen drives is not easy as removing your computer, because sometimes even after making a complete virus scan or else a total format the virus cant be removed.
First step in order to make sure your PC is secure is to find out of your PC is affected by Kinza Virus which passes through the Zip drives and makes the computer totally slow along with no access or restricts you to run TaskManager, Regedit, CMD, Msconfig and makes then close the moment you try to open those.
Download Kinza Virus Removal tool and run it in order to make sure your PC gets rid of it and you can access all the above listed programs and the computer runs quickly.

Another way how your PC gets attacked from the USB Virus is the Auto Run files on them, whenever you insert a USB Drive into your PC, it starts running a file which may/may not be infected with virus and you may be at risk directly inserting PC’s which have got virus. Disable this function in your computer by the following option :
Get Microsoft’s Tweak UI which is a part of Microsoft powertoys, using which you have the option to Enable/Disable Autoplay on drives inserted into your PC. You can even setup these fuctions for individual drives located in your computer.
There are number of other virus which affect the USB drives like Ravmon, New Folder.exe , Orkut is banned etc, which should be removed using any of the following Anti-Virus softwares.
The link of the .exe doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t get saved on my pc. 🙁
@Sunny Bajaj, Just tried redownloading the file for you which was of 220kb , i guess you are referring to the kinza virus removal exe file.
@Amit Bhawani, Hey Amit, Yup I am referring to the same.
Maybe Norton on my pc doesn’t allow it to be downloaded. It shows me download corrupt and norton shows processing threats.
Can you zip this file and upload to your server?
Regards,
Sunny.
I have tried the free versions of Cyberdefender, Prevx, ESET, PC Tools, AVG and Webroot. Most are just scanners, or 30 day trial versions.
All of these offer a $29 paid version (except AVG – $34 is cheapest paid version). I ended up getting Cyberdefender, because it not only protected me from viruses, but also spyware and trojans. I like that Cyberdefender is a public company (NASDAQ) and that they have 24/7 computer help that goes beyond tech help for the software.
I personally use USB Threat Defender. They claim that it has a unique technology(Proactive + Definiton scan) which not only prevents USB viruses from spreading but also detects and removes exisitng viruses from systems which not even the best Anti-Viruses can detect. It also fixes damages done to system.
