Spice launched MI 700 Android based tablet and two Android mobile phone namely MI 300 and MI 410. These mobiles starts with an introductory price of Rs 9,990. While Spice MI 300 mobile phone is launched into the market, the other two MI 410 mobile phone and MI 700 Android tablet are just announced.

The Spice MI 300 is a 3.2″ touchscreen mobile phone which incorporates Android v 2.1 for mobiles operating system. Being a 3G mobile handsets, it has GPS, Wi-Fi & other features like like Google Mobile Services, accelerometer and proximity sensor. This handset is also powered by a amazing 5 Mega Pixel camera too. It has got 600 MHz processor and supports Micro SD card expansion expandable up to 32GB in memory.

The sale of MI 300 has began and it is available at Spice Hotspot outlets in cities and towns across the country priced at Rs 9990, will soon be available at other distributors. By the end of October-November this year Spice MI 700 tablet and MI 410 would also be available to the customers.

Nicely designed MI 410 is an impressive mobile phone with its capability of High Definition video recording and playback on 4.1″ HVGA capacitive display screen. It will also come with features like Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, Google Mobile Services, Microsoft Office, push mail. Its not an Indian Make. It was introduced in Malaysia first.
They broke the news that; it’s a China OEM product.
    Search for MA6 @ http://www.alibaba.com.
You will be shocked to see what spice is doing…

I’m searching for android phones on a budget and cornered on htc wildfire and samsung galaxy 3.

The ‘spice’ this ignited some interest for it being under 10k and better specs. Thanks for the ‘ma6’ comment, goodbye Spice.

HTC for the build quality and 5mp cam is at 15k market price and galaxy at 12k. Really a tough choice for me.Considering the depreciation factor of pricing in electronics I’m tempted to stick with samsung.

Amit, should I go with wildfire or galaxy3 ?
There are no major tech spec differences.. processor, ram. One has higher in one of them. Shouldn’t be a problem.
If ‘durability’ is your only concern, then what would you choose among these two?

The only problem with the Indian based phone manufacturer companies is that, after the launch of their handset they rarely give an firmware update to the existing handset and only in the case if that handset is successful one.

Nah !!! I don’t think we have an firmware update on this !!!
