If you work from two different places from two different PCs then its quite obvious that one PC settings willn’t be available on other and so might miss something important. It’s not just about synchronizing your bookmarks anymore but its now about synchronizing whole of your data with other PC that you access.
Google Chrome Sync makes it easy to share you data not only bookmarks but also whole of your settings like preferences, themes, Chrome extensions, Autofill data (excluding your credit card numbers) through your Google Account. This will give you same experience on any other computer as it was in your home.
You can keep you browser preferences, bookmarks and browser theme synchronized on multiple computers using your Google Accounts. For this to happen you need to enable sync on a computer on your Google Chrome settings from one computer and when you access another computer by signing into your Google Accounts, Google Chrome settings are merged and copied to the computer on which you are presently working.
For Sync to be enabled you need to follow this steps on Google Chrome settings.
1. Open Google Chrome and click on Tools menu.
2. Select Set up Sync
3. Sign into Google Account in the popup box.
One you have done the following above steps your browser settings are automatically saved in your Google Account preferences and whenever and always you login into some other computer with your Google Account, if the browser has Google Chrome your settings are loaded into the browser.
However certain users like me wanted to have privacy and wants to sync only bookmarks but not the Autofill then instead of disabling sync settings entirely, you can choose to customize the specific settings by clicking on Customize. To stop Sync you can follow the same instruction again and click on Stop Sync.
Presently Sync is working in latest release of Beta 6 version and will go live soon in the next update of Google Chrome.

It seems to be very useful feature for google chrome lovers.
