Tether BSNL 3G Sim Internet with Huawei USB Modem

The good news in the 3G sector of India is that BSNL has launched unlimited wireless broadband data plans at Rs 700 only. They also provide data cards of Teracom Ltd as the vendor priced at Rs 2000 and Rs 2500. But the use of it is only limited to one device since it’s a USB type where you need to insert your BSNL 3G SIM.

3G USB ModemHuawei E122 3G USB modem is the next generation modem dongle that gives you faster broadband access speed. Its more hassle free since it requires no wires. It just a plug, auto install and connect through USB port device. This device provides you standard USB interface which lets you enjoy wireless internet connectivity.

This modem is completely unlocked and can support any 3G SIM. You can also use 3G SIM card and access internet wireless on your computer. This modem supports up to 7.2 Mbps HSDPA services.

    How much speed we will get? 700rs is not bad.

      This modem supports up to 7.2 Mbps HSDPA services.

    hi,
    bsnl 3g user ..i am also bsnl 3g user using as data card.. i found one issue of bsnl 3g using in my laptop..i need ur mail to conform this issue..the problem isis every 1 and half hour to 2 hr of connection .. that download speed get 000 and you will not able to open a single web page..and again we have to disconnect the net and connect it to get the speed ..did any one notice this,,if yes or no ..try it once and let me know and pls give a complain about this to bsnl office i did.

      Maybe you should contact the BSNL customer care or replace your Modem with the new one if its in warranty.

      Yea it will dude!
      Im roaming in delhi with bsnl SIM for like 2 months now though the signal is critically low at many places but you’d be alright 🙂

    7TH OF JAN I PURCHACED BSNL 3G DATA CARD THAT IS 7.2 MBPS. WHEN I PLAY AUDIO NO SOUND , WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

    700 is still good when compared to the double prices of brands like Reliance who still don’t offer unlimited browsing packs. The 700 plan is for unlimited browsing and downloading, and the speed is good enough. And with the Huawei modem, the bands are automatically selected and the connectivity mode is automatically selected depending on the availability.

    i have purchased a 3g bsnl modem usb , when i plug it , no sound comes in media player or mp3 player. if any body can provide any solution, i will be highly thankful.

    Hello friends,
    I have 2g Bsnl prepaid sim and I want use sim for connecting internet in laptop thhrough HUAWEI Model EG126G modem enabled for 3G. I have activated Rs. 275 ACT 3G plan for this purpose. I got connected to the internet but I got onlu 5 kb/s speed.Pl. advice what I have to do get maximum speed.

      That’s actually download speed which you get but overall its 100 KBPS speed. That’s only the maximum limit in 2G. If you want more speed go with 3G.

    I have a BSNL 3G Dongle with BSNL sim card with recharge internet pack of HUAWEI Model No: E156G. Problem that time when I connect the internet with my Laptop or other Desktop “error 628: remote computer terminate the process” show in Mobile Partner Application Install by Dongle. please reply how to solve this problem.

      Please check for APN and username. Call Customer Care.

      I think if you setup APN as “bsnlnet” will do the work for you.

    I have BSNL 3g sim and Nokia 6233 mobile and i m connecting to Internet through nokia pc suite using CA-53 cable but speed is slow. how can i verify that i m using 3g network it seems gprs connectivity over laptop.
    Please help to get 3g speed with current setup.
