I have purchased a new Apple iPod through ebay.in and after the payment i was told to wait for a update from the Seller. After a day long wait i received a email that the seller has shipped my order and i need to track it online to know the current status. Now many people keep wondering how to track the number offered to them because its not that easy to track down, but well if you find the right website links everything can be easily sorted out and in this case i will even show you a small tutorial on how to proceed for this search.

Once you Win a Auction or Buy some stuff Online, the seller once receiving the payment would send you shipping details and most of these when sent to India are handled through the Indian Postal Service via Speed Post. Other than the Speed Post you can also track down different services like DHL, BlueDart etc all of which offer Online Parcel Tracking Services.

Next you will be given with a Tracking Code or Reference Number which you should copy and then access the India Post website, which offers multiple services, but you need to visit the Speed Post option in it. This is not directly found on the website, hence just click on this url and get access to the Speed Net Tracking URL where you can track down your parcel. Just Enter the Article Number and click on Track to get the details, you can also enter your email address to stay informed about the Speed Post on your email. A Complete Movement Report would be shown to you as shown below which would be really helpful in finding the current status of your Article Bag.

  4. Dear Amit How do I get the article number. The only thing I have is the tracking number. When I go to India post and click on International mail tracking I have to insert the tracking number, then I get details of on which shipment stage the product is on in the United States. The seller has shipped my product through USPS Priority Mail International and has not marked my product as a gift. Now when I go to International Mail Tracking in India post and enter the tracking number it shows me that it has reached the “send item abroad” (EDI – received ) stage. “Please help”. Thank you.

    My sis sent a parcel by USPS on 24th June 2011. I am able to track it till the customs clearance on 29th June. How can I find the status of my parcel???

    My friend sent a used mobile by USPS on 23rd August 2011. I am able to track it till the customs clearance on 27th August 2011. can any one hlep me how can I find the status of my parcel????

    A parcel sent from US (USPS) on Dec 05 i havent received it yet. I reached out to near by post offices they said, they didnt receive any parcel. When I checked the status of the tracking number, it just says it cleared customs in US.
