The Apple iPad is a great device for browsing the Internet and also connecting with your friends, but its a tedious task to bookmark all your favorite websites one by one which were stored in your Laptops Browser. In this article we are going to give you a quick solution following which you can easily synchronize or transfer your desktop based browser’s bookmarks to the Apple iPad device.
We have around 250 bookmarks stored in our favorite web browser – Firefox, which first needs to be Imported to safari in order to get started. There is no need to purchase any iPad Application for this stuff because these options are originally offered by Apple itself, the only stuff you need to do is implement all these steps.
This two-way sync works with Safari Browser on the Mac computers and for both the browsers ie Internet Explorer and Safari for Windows based computers. The meaning of two way sync is that if you make any changes on any of the device ie your computer or the iPad they would be updated on both when the connection is established.
To get started you need to Connect your Apple iPad with the computer and run the iTunes Application. Next select the device from the left menu options. Under the right side list of different options you need to click on the ‘info’ tab under which there would be a list of different options. Move towards the end where you would find a ‘Other Section’. Check the ‘Sync Bookmarks with Internet Explorer or Safari from the dropdown menu. While in case of Mac you need to check the Sync Safari bookmarks checkbox because there would be no Internet Explorer browser.
Click on Apply to set the changes to be activated and synced.
For other browsers like Google Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox you need to import all the bookmarks either to Internet Explorer or Safari browser and then sync the same. A simple way to perform this stuff but quite better to the manual job to adding bookmarks one by one.
