This blog post is not about another gadget or technology event but about something interesting and unique which was experienced by me today. The other day I received an invite to experience this new concept which the “Trident Hotels” group is implementing and I was the first to try it out. No other information given, the only clause being that I could experience everything at the Hotel but would need to Check-in through Foursquare.
Note: This was not a paid activity & I opted for it for fun.
This was interesting because I have been a regular user on foursquare and have been checking into different places all around the world. But a Concept of Getting a Room at a 5 Star Hotel through a online app is something new. Following this there were a series of talks only through Twitter and we experienced something phenomenal. A simple check-in on Foursquare and you are done, followed by a welcome from the Hotel’s Twitter Account and then the whole support handled through Social Media is something new at least for me and many in the country as shown below
