September 27, 2010 by Yogesh Patel

It a good news that Internet Explorer team of Microsoft has released their latest version Internet Explorer 9 packed with lots of features and addon. Many people prefer to go with the older version of them because they are stable and some older PC might occupy much memory usage so that it may slow down your pc. Another reason why people to stick to older version is because they are adept to that working style. In such cases its better to go with older, lighter version rather than going for stylish and the latest version.

However if you have installed the latest version of Internet Explorer and wanted to revert back to the older version you can do it very easily.

There is one simple easy procedure which is uninstall the current version, download and install the older version which is available for download on web. Or else of you don’t have internet connectivity then you can go with the procedure-

Greetings all: I hope that this is not too long-winded … I am running Win 7 on a new LeNovo all-in-one: when Microsoft brought out the IE9 beta I downloaded it and enjoyed a much improved I Explorfer.

An unrelated problem had my ISP claiming that my IE was causing a problem on their Security Program which I had installed. I removed the IE9 portion of my browser, and subsequently my ISP took responsibility for the ‘problem’ and fixed it. This left me with “some” version of IE, which won’t even go to very many URLs, and other problems. I have tried to download IE9 – but it will not install because it cannot mesh with whatever IE that I have currently.

I am far from bneing an expert and at age 70 I am on the downside of the learning curve too !

My thinking is that I should remove any IE components which I still have installed and then download IE9 … but I am aware that things are also seldom that straightforward ! If anyone could offer some advice here.it will be greatly appreciated: right at the moment I cannot go to very many URLs for help.

Thanxmuch in advance / John in Canada
