Verify your IMEI & Implant IMEI in Chinese Mobile Phones

November 30, 2009 by Amit Bhawani

Chinese Mobile Phone HandsetsToday is the final day when all the chinese mobile phone handsets which were having no IMEI numbers would get cancelled and after this only the handsets which got the Genuine IMEI numbers would be working and others would be cancelled. If you are worried about your handset then you should check out for the IMEI Number before its too late and get a new IMEI issued asap.

Basically the IMEI[International Mobile Equipment Identification] is a 15 Digit Code which is used to identify a mobile phone handset and no two handsets would have the same IMEI number in any case which is very much useful number for security purpose. The GSMCA[Global Systems for Mobile Communications Association] is the sole provider which assigns these IMEI numbers to all the handsets, hence you cannot get it from anywhere else.

You can also verify your IMEI number through SMS Verification by sending your IMEI to a Phone Number via SMS. Follow the example below for this :
Type an SMS “IMEI {followed by your} (15 digit IMEI No.) to 53232
for e.g.: IMEI 353089028162572 to 53232

Dont forget to read more about the Gii Program by MSAI because that can be the most important information right now for people who own Chinese Mobile Phones. Also for Lost Mobile Phones do check out mobilephonestracker.com
