Videocon MNP Offer – How to Switch to Videocon under Mobile Number Portability

Videocon MNP Logo It now seems that apart from BSNL other operators like TATA DOCOMO and now Videocon Mobile Services will charge for the MNP Porting charge which is set as Rs. 19 by TRAI. Videocon Mobile Services unveiled its MNP offer so that the customers of different operator can switch to Videocon under Mobile Number Portability benefit.

Unlike TATA DOCOMO and BSNL Mobile, Videocon is not offering any new plans or offers as such for the new MNP acquisitions but ranging from exciting offers ranging from unlimited local on net calling for just Rs. 59 for a period of 30 days, daily free minutes pack priced at Rs. 149, 3000 minutes of free calling to any number for just Rs. 399/month and 1p/sms offers you can choose from a host of value recharges.

Procedure to shift your existing number to Videocon:

  • First you will need to generate a Unique Porting Code (UPC) from your mobile number. To generate this code just, SMS “PORT” (space) mobile number to 1900.
  • After sending sms, visit your nearest ‘Videocon Retail Outlet’, submit mandatory documents and fill the Customer Application Form and Port-in form, pay Port-in fee of Rs. 19, get a new Videocon Mobile Services SIM and request for port-in.
  • Now, new SIM purchased will be activated within 7 working days. Activation date and time will be informed to you through SMS. Simply insert the Videocon Mobile Services SIM into your phone and enjoy the services of Videocon.

    Videocon cellular company is do not have good services. If you r going to switch to Videocon then don’t go for that because they do not have switch services. It’s my personal Experience.
