The Videocon Group has made a new entry as a new GSM service provider in India, becoming 13th company to offer a GSM services across India. Videocon GSM Prepaid services has already been started in Tamilnadu and Haryana. The following is the tariff and plans of Videocon GSM Services in Tamilnadu and Haryana region.
Videocon Mobiles services are right now available for Prepaid Mobiles in two different plans, which are
Videocon Base Plan Details:
For the Videocon Prepaid SIM you need to pay Rs 49 to purchase it and you will get Rs 5 talktime. You can get Videocon SIM at all Videocon retail outlets and other retails shops. There is no news about Videocon Postpaid services as of now, will be soon kicking off. Validity of Rs 49 recharge is 90 days and your local call rates will be Rs 1 per minute and Rs 1.50 for STD calls & Local SMS at Rs 1 per SMS, National SMS at Rs 1.50 per SMS. The Base Plan is not much attractive but good things about it is first two local SMS will be charged at Rs 1 and then 100 local SMS for the same day will be free which can’t be carried over the next days.
Videocon Per Second Details:
First time recharge with FRC of Rs 31 and you will get a talktime of Rs 25 and your call rates will be Rs 0.01 for all local and STD calls (includes all networks), SMS rates applies as Rs 1 for Local SMS and Rs 1.50 for National SMS.
First two local SMS will be charged at Rs 1 and then 100 local SMS for the same day will be free which can’t be carried over the next days.
Videocon Value Added Services:
Videocon also provides Value Added Services (VAS) and following are the few to list:
Miss Call alert service is free for first three months.
GPRS and WAP rates are not yet announced.
Promotional Offers: All customers opting for GSM services until 25 April 2010 will get Rs 75 talk time and 100 national and local SMS free along with life time validity for per second billing. Videocon has acquired license to offer their GSM services in all 23 circles in India which includes major Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Haryana, Mumbai and Punjab.
Tariffs are not attracting, its too high and i doubt whether its attracts people to Videocon ?.
Its good offers going on videocon if u recharge at rs 17 u can get it std and local permintue only 25 paise .it can useful for urs..m

abruptly 55 Rs are charged for the call that i never made.
there was just a message of 55 Rs being charge for something that i never used.
this is not the first time it happened, previously it was small amount like 10 or 13 Rs but now this has happened for no reaseon, when called to customer care ther is a answering machine which just tells ur balance.
please let me know if there is any sollution for this issue.
