Alienware has loads of other great laptops as well. But around what do the Dell XPS’s cost? I’m considering getting a better laptop and I’ll keep your tips in mind when choosing one. The price range is between $800-$1200. Do you recommend a specific machine in that range?

Erik I strongly suggest you to buy a ps3 or a xbox if gaming is so important to you. Even upto 50k, “FORGET ABOUT A GAMING LAPTOP”, and MIND IT.
