I’m a Six Figure Blogger – 2009 Stats & 2010 Goals

Welcome to the New Year 2010, and iam here to announce that 2009 was one of the best years of my life. Here are few of the reasons for the same.

Got Married : Well in the year 2009 i got married and became more serious in my life. This is because once a guy gets married he comes a responsible man who has to think responsibly, plan out everything in life and then execute stuff. While you are a guy you can do anything because in most cases your family would support you for the same and would take you as a teenager but once you are married, the life totally changes and you need to face everything in your life from making decisions, giving time towards your family and even building a good reputation within your society because where you really live your daily life.Create New Website

New Online Projects :

During the year 2009 i did start many new different websites and even tried to work on the ones which were started earlier by just pushing them ahead. Generally any website would do well if complete concentration is given to it, but if we work on it rarely ie like part time dedication then its obvious that the results wont be coming in. Though some of our sites did cross the minimum barriers & some did above average which includes – Best Pregnancy Tips, Career Gears, Heart Diseases, Health Tips, Laptops Next, Christmas Wow, India Guide, Top Bikes etc. The list is quite big and whenever i find a good idea i would start implementing it right away and in most cases its starting a new website which as previously mentioned wont be really making me hell lot of money but would still make a lot in the future and these all are the plants which are waiting to become trees and give me the fruits.

2009 Income Statistics :

The title says it all. This means that i have crossed 6 Figure Blogging Income this year ie 1,00,000$+ Income made during the year 2009 all through Online Blogging. Last year i wrote down complete History of AmitBhawani.com, which was a lot useful to most of our readers because they could know how we started and how should someone implement the same steps. Instead of just talking about the numbers let me give you more detailed information on the source of this money making.

  • Google Adsense 60%
  • CPM Networks 20%
  • Direct Ads / Incontent Link Ads 10%
  • Affiliate Networks 5%
  • Others 5%

The affiliate networks revenue is almost nothing and this is because i never concentrated on it, but the year 2010 would have a target of implementing more onto this area because if you have got traffic then merging it with Affiliates would yield the maximum results. Overall the income had been on a increasing trend and the year beginning was almost nothing when compared to the last quarter of 2009.

2009 Blogging Stats : Along with the revenue point of view it would be good to give more stats on my current blogs which i handle. Overall i can say currently we have 4 serious blogs which have great traffic along with a total feed subscribers count of 61000 which infact is a good number. This means that every day when we make a blog post more than 61000 people get emailed with whatever we write and iam sure we are improving in quality standards and also in numbers wise. This is all working because our blog readers like what we write on our different blogs and they read and even share the same in their network which helps us in growing our blogs. Since this post in posted on our Tech Blog let me give some statistics on this domain name ie amitbhawani.com which has many other sub-blogs like Auto, India, Health, Career, Jobs etc all of which get visitors from all over the world and these all have currently a total subscribers of 24,000.

2010 Targets & Goals : Now since i have already discussed what i had achieved in the year 2009, now let me share with you what kind of plans i have got for the next year. Iam sure 99% of the guys[Bloggers] would have targets like More Money, More Visitors, More Blogs & Bigger Networks which is also one of my own target too but apart from this i have few more Goals for this year which are listed below.

  • Goal 1 : Have a Fantastic & Better Family – I want to give more and more time to my family and make sure all iz well, and this is only possible when you listen and also be a part of time all the time. Take this as a personal advice – but if your family issues are always settled you are always living in a good atmosphere and this would mean that you get more productivity and ideas. I have seen many bloggers who dont get time for Blogging because of their Offline Life issues and if these are settled, the whole world can be yours.
  • Goal 2 : Scheduling Stuff & Implementation – I have a wrong habit of working at midnight and also on sundays but when this is compared with other people i feel they have a better life, and this is because now i feel Money is not everything and its the life which we cannot live again and we have to spend every moment of our life in such a way that in the future we don’t feel bad about what we have done in the past. Hence iam going to go for better schedules on my work and also live life King Size from 2010. It can be hard but when you have got targets and schedules, working on them can be easier and iam going to try my best to implement all my plans.
  • Goal 3 : Speak at Conferences – As previously mentioned i have slowly started to overcome my Stage Fear and this is something i do accept as a fact because this was possible only with a single line i was recently told which was ‘The most difficult things in our Life are the most easiest if you implement them right away’. We have already confirmed three conferences for 2010 where i would be speaking on Internet Marketing & Blogging. Hence i want to make sure i can focus on this and teach more people on how to get into Web Blogging and also personally become a more confident person.

These three are the most important goals for 2010 and i would love to know how was the year 2009 for you guys and what plans you have got for the next year.
