The Apple iPad – Touch Screen Device is selling like Hot Cakes in India because its not yet launched by Apple officially and seems like it would take atleast 6 months for Apple to Sell iPad in India. I did Pre-Order iPad from US through a friend and also purchased through ebay and the Price of Apple iPad came at around 35,000Rs range which is a decent price, but here is a report from businessweek.com which says that a Electronics Seller in Mumbai has sold more than 20 Apple iPad’s at a price of more than 1,00,000Rs ie 2250$.
This is not just the end, there are many geeks who are purchasing the Apple iPad through ebay and other Online sellers and then importing them through their friends or business partners. While the pricing listed above is being charged for the 64GB version of Apple iPad which officially costs 699$, it seems like because of the huge demand sellers are selling them at almost double to triple prices.
